Robert Earl Keen!!!

http://www.robertearlkeen.com/

Nice night at the Green Street Club. http://www.greenestreetclub.com/

The Robert Earl Keen Band rocked the house. I have lost count of the times I have seen them. It is a long road and a very good one. The crowd was packed into the place and the band was rocking. It was a great time. It always is. Hey I will see you down the road. Soon...

Did I mention I took this picture? Hey with a Nikon SLR I could rock! Lol. Life is good..see you next time.

Bill Whitbeck..

I remember interviewing REK for radiomargaritaville a while back. As we were going through a band introduction he told me about finding Bill. He said he played the bass like no other and could just really sing the harmony parts. He hired him and the rest is history. I love that Danelectro bass...I am a Danelectro fan....

Marty Muse!

Several times I called Marty's name. He is a great player. I like this picture....he really adds to the REK sound.

I never tire of REK. If he was playing tonight I would be there. That is Rich Brotherton is the background. He can play guitar, he can produce, he can do so much without making a fuss. Yeah he rocks. "Nuff said.

Bobby Antonelli...

Bobby had his old shirt on from the the "Two B's Please" tour. I have to congratulate him for still being able to wear it. Very cool indeed.

Pure Entertainment....

Robbin on harp. His ref shirt had a special meaning which you have to understand the lyrics of one of his songs to get the inside track. Go buy the cds and you will figure it out.

That is Velpo Robertson on guitar in the background. He can play it. I loved his soaring solos when they went into jam mode. It was good. Real good.

I have to say I really enjoyed the band with Robbin. They played their asses off for close to three hours. Hell age is a number, these guys know how to throw a party. I was glad to be there....front row a few feet from the action. The cool thing about a show like this is to be able to share a joke or a story after the show. Yes, yes that is living.

Audie Stanley...

Audie was sounding great on bass. If you go to look through all the history of Robbin Thompson music and hits you find his name all over the place. http://www.robbinthompson.com/discography.html

This show was a reunion of the Robbin Thompson Band and let me tell you there were no lightweights on that stage. They rocked.

Robbin Thompson!

Last Saturday night in Roanoke, Virginia at Roanoke College. It's been a long cold winter. After a very nice dinner in Roanoke overlooking the city and the blue ridge mountains in the distance I watched the sun go down on the way to the venue. It is always good to see Robbin play. I never tire of his music.

The voice of the Bojangles commercial....http://www.lobe.com/ Robbin gets it done..every time I see that commercial I smile. 'Nuff said.
