He has been very busy in the last three weeks recording with the likes of Huey Lewis http://www.hueylewis.com on harp and a cast of top shelf musicians recording what will be a collection of music called "Space Age Blues." For those of you two or three who haven't heard of this amazing artist you will instantly recognize his last name. Allman. As in Gregory and Duane. Greg is Devon's Dad and when you hear the music you hear the connection. Not only is it in the music and the feel, it is in the voice. Awesome stuff! Yeah I never bs when I talk about what I like in music or when I think someone "has it." This brother "has it" and I am loving it. Go sample those Torch tracks and buy the album. I really love it. Very nice.

Honeytribe formed in 1999 in St. Louis and it wasn't too long before they were playing 300 gigs a year in the States and Europe. Devon has found his way on stage with the Allman Brothers, Billy Gibbons, Les Paul, and many others.

Devon was just in Los Angeles this last week at the NAMM show where he was making some noise on his new amp!

Here is Devon's note from the road and posted on his fan page: I've designed this amp with Mr. Andy Fuchs himself. It is basically their bad ass best selling ODS ( Overdrive Supreme ) 100 Watt head , but my personal tweaks will be on the gain structure allowing for the creamy tone that I constantly search for in every room I play. Articulate , woody , sexy and raw ...all at the same time. And then of course my personal colors , white and silver.

The head and cabinet will be wrapped in white tolex instead of the industry standard black and all appointments will be in chrome with the lettering done in the same font as the SPACE AGE BLUES logo to commemorate the new album.

The 2 X 12 cabinet will feature two speakers not side by side , but up and down , making the cabinet taller and allowing for the head , which has 30% less width than other heads , to fit perfectly on top. The grill cloth will be silver and knobs white.

This amp is very special to me and will hopefully embody both the aesthetic of the SPACE AGE BLUES campaign and just be really futuristic and classy at the same time.

Price tag will be close to the normal ODS price tag....
