John David Souther blew my mind last night. As he took the stage on a rather balmy February night in Chapel Hill he mentioned he was looking forward to playing this solo gig for us. In short I think he was tired of waiting and ready to play. And play he did. For over two hours! After the show I talked to him for a few minutes and he said something about "Sorry for playing so long." My reply? "Long is good."
