Steve Forbert. I have been a fan for many decades. He hails from a town I spent five years of my life in, Meridian, Mississippi.
It seems like yesterday when MTV started up and he was all over the network with his hits. Another Southern boy hittin' the charts. I thought it was very cool and still do. Somewhere back in the Down South Radio Hour blog there are some other pictures of his first visit to this venue. Great stuff always. With his touring schedule we were very fortunate to see him perform. This is the type show I most enjoy, up close, personal, he plays for way over two hours, and it rocked. If you have not seen Steve you should go as soon as you can. Words really don't do him justice. 'Nuff said...
