Day turns into night. Here is a view from the Casa Marina balcony where I joined several friends sharing a mag of wine. http://www.scottkirby.com/ This was a very good show. The night was perfectly warm and the palm trees were swaying in the breeze coming off the water. There was a huge crowd on hand and they were having a blast. This was my first glimpse of Russ Kunkle playing on drums. Man he sounded great. http://www.russellkunkel.com/main/photos.html
I spent some time with Russ later that night and I asked him about the music stand on the stage next to his drums. He told me that he was reading the music as he had charted over twenty songs for the show with Scott that night. Wow what a musician.
