One of my Favorite Images from the Jimmy Buffett Concert.

Virginia Beach 2013!! I am liking the Martin background!

So many pictures so little time. So many stories to write down...I am always a couple of concerts behind on my blog and I have so many coming so quick!

Until next time I sit down to publish, I'll see you, down the road.

From Jimmy Buffett's 2013 release "Songs From St. Somewhere" Lyrics by Jesse Winchester.

Just out in the harbor
All the ships asleep
Maybe one cold watchman
Walks a lonely beat
Way out on the water
A ship is under sail
Leaving wavy starlight
And a dreamer in her trail

I wave bye bye
I pray God speed
I wish lovely weather
More luck than you need
You'll only sail in circles
So there's no need to cry
No, I'll see you again one day
And then I waved bye bye

The sailing ship reminds me
Of a certain girl
Who left a certain dreamer
To sail into the world
I've very friendly post-cards
From very far away
But they just remind me
Of a certain day

I wave bye bye
I pray God speed
I wish lovely weather
And all the luck that you need
You'll only sail in circles
So there's no need to cry
No, I'll see you again one day
And then I waved bye bye

The Masterminds of Club Trini

Robert Greenidge and Mike Utley. I still like calling Mike "Mr. Utley." Two of the most talented and nice guys on the planet!!

Go buy all of their music if you don't have it all!!

Mac and Mike...

Mac McAnally and Mike Utley. We were chatting about an upcoming event in Key West to develop some game plans. These guys are two very successful musicians and I am fortunate to have a few moments here and there to talk with them.

I first saw these guys perform in the 1970's and that seems like so long ago. Here we are all these years later in 2013 watching them perform at a sold-out amphitheater. It seems unreal at times to look back into the past and think about it all.

I am glad we are all still here! Life is good.

Peter Mayer in Virginia Beach

Peter Mayer and me before the Virginia Beach Jimmy Buffett concert.

I sometimes get a hard time from friends about posing with musicians for pictures but I enjoy doing it to record the passage of time and events.

I have pictures of me and Peter all the way back into the early 1990's in all kinds of locations. Here is another one for the collection.
The pace of my life sometimes blurs the memory. Thankfully my blog gives me a way to keep up with where my feet have landed in the musical world.

It is moments like the one in this picture that make my day. Thanks Peter.
